The “2020 Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA)” passed in September 2020, provides the USDA FOREST SERVICE funding of approximately $285 Million dollars, PER YEAR, over the next five (5) years ($1.425 Billion). The USDA FOREST SERVICE will use these funds to address deferred maintenance and other infrastructure projects on National Forests and Grasslands throughout the United States. Such projects include improvements to campgrounds, picnic areas, roads, trails, and other critical infrastructure to include pre-fabricated trail bridges.
The USDA FOREST SERVICE intends to advertise and solicit proposals, quotations or bids for the fabrication, delivery, supply, and/or installation of pre-fabricated trail bridges. For more information on the GAOA and proposed projects, please visit USDA Announces First Set of Great American Outdoors Act Projects | USDA.
